Literature Text

Today the oaks scream tangerine
just loud enough to make the clouds blaze wild;
one last defiant burst of life,
as if to say they’re brighter than
the rainbow Christmas bulbs
that wrap their lovers' arms on Winter nights.
Just a random thought I had today, walking underneath the brightest autumn tree I'd ever seen... I thought it might be strangely poetic, and so it was. :P

The first person who commented on this should be given a medal, they found the one word that describes the poem perfectly: synesthesia! The words sound so tasty, mmm-mmm!
